McKell Joffs – Owner
MeKell Joffs graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Economics. After graduation, she worked as a financial analyst for a capital markets group and then as an analyst for a fortune 500 healthcare company. In 2002, she began working independently for clients as an analyst and accountant. This opportunity led her to private real estate lending, since many of her clients were looking for new investment opportunities.
MeKell uses her strong background in economics to understand the ever changing real estate market in Las Vegas, and her background in financial analysis to structure conservative loans for investors.
Over 30+ Years of Experience
As a premier hard money lender, Emory Funding is a company of professionals with over 30 years combined experience in mortgage lending. We are a lending alternative to traditional sources. Our past careers have included financial analysis, portfolio management, accounting, and other business ownership. It is a blend of talents that makes Emory Funding one of the best private lending companies in the state.
Our Unique Approach
What makes this hard money lender is that we specialize in private real estate finance and trust deed investments. There is a demand among individuals and companies for loans where traditional bank financing is unavailable. These loans include purchase money loans, bridge loans, investment property refinance, construction loans, and rehab loans. At Emory Funding we build relationships with private money investors who have investment capital to lend. We pair qualified borrowers with accredited investors in safe, transparent, and secure transactions where borrowers commit between 30% and 40% equity. The private money investor typically earns double digit returns with his investment secured by real estate. The borrower gets a flexible loan to suit his needs with a short turn around time between application and funding.
Emory Funding has a network of professionals who include real estate brokers and investors who turn to our company to fund their own acquisitions or those of the buyers whom they represent. It is through our improved business acumen and operational management that we have gained the community’s trust and earned their business.
We fund loans in a very timely manner, and have a large network of hard money private investors, which enables us to successfully finance a variety of transactions. Transactions can fund in as little as 3 to 5 business days, although typical funding times average around 3 to 4 weeks.
Our lending guidelines are common sense. We draw from a wealth of experience and knowledge in order to help you explore all options available. If your transaction falls outside of our typical guidelines, we can still propose a loan to meet your needs through our network of private money investors.
For most property types, whether commercial, residential, or multi-family, we have a solution for you. Feel free to call or email your scenario and we will respond within 24 business hours.
